The most perfect, fluffy snowflakes danced through the air on a December morning in upstate New York. They set the wintery tone for Leah and James’ beautiful wedding day – one that would be filled with horse drawn sleigh rides, hot cocoa, and sweet, tender moments. The Lodge in Skaneateles, New York provided the perfect atmosphere for all of this, complete with a cozy fireplace to keep warm on a cold, snowy day. When I think of the quintessential winter wedding day, this is the one that will always come to mind.
Leah and James have a love for each other that is so meaningful – I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room as they exchanged their heartfelt vows to each other. Not only is their love for each other so special, but the love that so clearly envelopes them from their family and friends was so palpable throughout the day. While riding in a sleigh pulled by gorgeous horses as the snow falls gently from the sky is such a dream, it’s nothing compared to the beauty of the love that encompassed Leah and James’ wedding day. It was such an honor to document this special piece of this love story, and I am so excited to share a few of the moments from this winter wedding day!
