When a couple loves adventure as much as Cammy and Chase do, an autumnal engagement session deep in the Colorado mountains is a no-brainer.
Cammy and Chase first met in the eighth grade, but their love story truly began when they reconnected while home from their junior year in college. Six years later in the countryside of Ireland, Chase got down on one knee and asked Cammy to marry him. With that one question, the greatest adventure of their life was about to begin.
This autumn, Cammy and Chase planned an epic road trip through Colorado, living the van life in the mountains for a week. We met up in Crested Butte to shoot their engagement photos amongst the yellow aspens and rugged mountain landscape. While taking these photos, they explored the most stunning alpine lake, took in the vastness of Colorado in all its glory, and danced in the rain. For a couple who lives close to the beach in Florida, it was the perfect fresh experience and change of scenery. So many sweet new memories were created for Cammy and Chase during our time together, making for the quintessential fall mountain session.
